Picnic Grove offers a variety of recreations for everybody, especially the family, a lush 500 meters long walking area, a paintball war jungle, a volcano and lake view deck, a horseback riding area and some nice souvenir shops. The Picnic Grove is probably the most visited spot in Tagaytay, or maybe neck and neck with the other popular destination nearby, the Palace in the Sky which is now known as People’s Park. Other activities involve a new Zipline that soars 300 feet above ground for the daredevils, the eco trail for walking enthusiasts and of course the picnic spots for those who just want to hang out and enjoy Tagaytay’s view and weather. From the public view deck here you have a gorgeous view of Lake Taal to the south, Laguna de Bay to the east and almost as far as Manila to the north. Jeepneys go up there regularly from the Tagaytay Rotonda (Silang Crossing), stopping on the way at the turn-off down to Talisay. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Tagaytay Itinerary 2 Days.

It was too crowded... Pretty but the place wasn't relaxing... Too many vendors and it should be regulated... Though the view was perfect, it was hard to take pictures with the weekend crowd... I guess it's because it's the nearest spot from Manila where the weather is cooler... I'd suggest to go there on a weekday if possible that way there will be less people and you could definitely feel the place and relax...
This is the best place for Horse Riding, and Calesa Rides. This is good even for those who don't know how to ride horses. There are guides who will teach one how to.
entrance fee: 50 pesos/person. you can do some activities like horse riding (350/person), riding in cable car (200/person), zip line (200/person). picture taking with the horse for only 20 pesos 😅 new attraction: ferris wheel
We visited this place as part of our Educational Tour 2018. It is also one of the best spot for you to take a very good picture of Mt. Taal, the smallest volcano in the world. Unfortunately I think it is not well maintained and hopefully the local government unit will do its best to make it more beautiful and maintain its cleanliness. Overall, I highly recommend this place especially for families who would like to spend quality time with each other.
This place is not as good as before. Now there are lots of money making machines. I supposed this is a natural park where everyone can roam, relax and enjoy with very minimal cost
