Picnic Grove - Review
Picnic Grove offers a variety of recreations for everybody, especially the family, a lush 500 meters long walking area, a paintball war jungle, a volcano and lake view deck, a horseback riding area and some nice souvenir shops. The Picnic Grove is probably the most visited spot in Tagaytay, or maybe neck and neck with the other popular destination nearby, the Palace in the Sky which is now known as People’s Park. Other activities involve a new Zipline that soars 300 feet above ground for the daredevils, the eco trail for walking enthusiasts and of course the picnic spots for those who just want to hang out and enjoy Tagaytay’s view and weather. From the public view deck here you have a gorgeous view of Lake Taal to the south, Laguna de Bay to the east and almost as far as Manila to the north. Jeepneys go up there regularly from the Tagaytay Rotonda (Silang Crossing), stopping on the way at the turn-off down to Talisay. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Tagaytay Itinerary 2 Days.

Picnic Grove, Tagaytay Reviews
I think the management should repair or change the tables and gazebos because a lot if not all are defective already. And they don't look presentable anymore to people. One faucet that should be available for use in the gazebo that we rented is not functional. They should also put cemented pathway or small stairways to each gazebo and tables because it's super muddy and slippery when it rains. It was raining when we were there and my youngest daughter almost tripped over. It's dangerous for children and older adults. The thing we went there for was the view but most of it is blocked by some structures. They should preserve the scenery because that is what people is going there for. One last thing. There should be units for small families of four or five who want to stay overnight or even longer. I think they had it before. Please repair it and make it functional again.
I remember visiting this place 20 yrs ago. So much has changed. And it feels good that they are adaptable to change. My kids enjoyed the zipline.
I enjoyed my visit to this place. Windy and good place to have picnic and relax. You can bring your food. Had so much fun riding horses with friends. Best time to visit is Christmas season.
Great place for relaxing and to have picnic with your family and friends. Need maintenace on their cottages and the CR fee is too much (10pesos). If you'll use the CR 3 times you will also pay 3 times.
I hopped on for a quick view before heading down to the lake for volcano views. It's is passable and the facilities needs maintenance and better signage. They could make the trail walk longer.
