Residence Inn Zoo, Tagaytay Reviews
This was taken last year, May 2017. Our family had fun. It was my dream come true encountering a tiger up close. It's kinda pricey but oh well, our family enjoyed it.
They actually have tigers and lions amd camel too. The view of Taal is wondrous. They also have restaurant there. Must visit place
Wild animals in cages. Fun for kids but tiring for elders or seniors who have to negotiate the steep stairs up and down the ridge.
We came here to see the Zoo and its quite ok though not really spacious.. and just like the other comments, I didn't like the way that most animals there doesn't look healthy [or happy] aside from the fact that its not really clean. 😟 But what I like is the interaction I get with some animals. Nothing's special with the animal show but it's good. Will probably go back to visit again. 😊😊
Lets start with the Price. If you ask me its expensive. General entrance is 249 pesos, and i was a bit expecting some good things to see there. Unfortunately, its not. The place is small for a zoo. You can roam around the area in 30 minutes . You have the usual aquariums, the monkeys, the tigers, the horses, the birds, the ostrich, the goats and the Lions. They have some Korean restaurants inside, And thats about it. They could have at least tried to make the cages of the tigers clean. Its dark and it is not clean. We also went bird feeding. Funny thing is even if you have bird feeds, the birds wont come down. Unlike the bird feeding experience we had in Manila Ocean Park where the birds are active, the birds in Residence Inn seems to be afraid. Anyways, to summarize our experience, its not what we expected. We only had fun with the lion cub picture taking (50 pesos) and Spiderman (gave him 50 pesos for the effort). Will we go back? No i guess. But i do wish the animals will have better cages in the future.
