There is no dearth of mountain places in Taichung, still Guanyin remains a name worth remembering. It is a unique forest trail that passes through numerous Guanyin statues before ending at the top of a hill. Once you reach the summit, you will find two Buddha statues over 10 m overlooking the city and its people. Every month, hundreds of visitors come to this place to pay their offerings and pray. Everything about the temple, from its magnificent architecture to symbolic sculpture, impeccable designs and serene atmosphere makes it almost a divinity to witness.
