The university stands among the top rated universities in Taiwan. It is named after one of the influential personalities in Taiwan- Chiu Deng Chia who contributed in war against Japan invasion. The place was established in 1961 with an aim to promote education among the masses. Currently located in the heart of the city in Xitun district, the university is home to eight schools and colleges along with an impressive vast campus full of hustling students.
