  • The original location of Ding Tai Fung. While the dumplings here are great, I don't think it is any better than other locations, so not really worth the wait if there is a crowd. Tried their beef noodle soup here and it was pretty unremarkable. I thought it could have been more flavourful Overall, still giving this 4 star on the merits of the soup dumplings alone

  • Excellent service. As a restauranteur, I was impressed by the high standard of cleanliness and consistency with the service. The consistent staff who smiled at you welcoming and leaving the restaurant, explaining the dishes and how to eat, and staying attentive during dining on clearing dishes. The food of course was on point.

  • Food is relatively good but just not great. Long queue depending on your group size. Food taste lacks consistency, ordered 2 fried rice and one came out more bland than the other. And the noodles was at most mediocre. Highlight was their xiao long bao and their special spicy shrimp and pork wontons. But their service is excellent. Food was served quickly, empty plates was cleared off, service staff always has a smile on their face. And service staff are well versed with multiple languages. So no worries if you can't speak Mandarin. The order menu has on with English language too. 5 stars for their service.
