Miniatures Museum - Review
Established in 1997, this is the first museum in Asia to display a collection of miniatures. The second largest museum in the world in terms of collection, the Miniatures museum of Taipei has a collection over two hundred exhibits.
The exhibits are divided into two main sections. One of them is a doll house exhibit while the other is a box room exhibit. The exhibits are extremely intricately designed and they more often than not revolve around native and contemporary topics and subjects.

Miniatures Museum, Taipei Reviews
Its a very nice place to visit. The exhibits they have on display is of high quality. The miniatures also have descriptions by the modelers as well giving insight to what they thought and how they made the dioramas. The gift shop contains many supplies for making one's own dioramas but the prices are steep.(this is coming from a guy who knows nothing about making this level of dioramas so take what i just said with a pound of salt) By the way. The museum is located in the basement of the building
MUST VISIT!!! We spent a whole hour here looking at all the detailed miniature rooms. We didn't even think a miniature museum could be this fun! The details are marvelous. It was our first timw in a miniature museum, and we loved it. I don't know why it's not in every Taipei what to do guide.
Pretty interesting and surprisingly bigger than I had expected. Some of the tiny houses are so real looking! I feel like they could update the place a bit though.
Such a fun experience! My wife loves all things miniature and this museum couldn’t have been more perfect for her interests. We spent about two hours looking at all the displays and reading the signage (mostly in English). There were displays featuring various houses, some Disney movies, and some historic buildings, so it felt fresh throughout the museum. If you like this kind of art, this is a good stop to make.
This museum was pretty cool. Different miniature setups from people around the world, showing both familiar scenes as well as originals. The level of detail on the miniature set ups is amazing.
