The night safari taiping is actually a delusion of moonlight pertaining to the zoo’s closing hours. All in all, a great way to see the beguiled nocturnals in their element. Zoo Taiping Reviews & Ratings
Nice place to visit especially for family. But the environment not properly managed. The zoo's staff need to improve the maintenance all of the animals mostly the pond water. Overall, it was an interesting experience and the kids very happy. Suitable place with affordable ticket's fee.
Went for night safari, it was a different experience. Most of the animals were asleep, but some were still available to see. For those who really want to visit the zoo, best to visit in the morning. The 'seladang' was indeed a majestic animal, thrilled to have seen it. Night safari ticket was rm20/adult, with trams to bring you around the zoo. Can also walk, if weather permits. One of the cleanest and well maintained zoo I've been. Good job to zoo Taiping staffs😊
A very well maintained zoo located near Lake Gardens, Taiping, Perak, Malaysia. Features #accessible parking and entrance and #accessibility friendly pathways. The entry ticket is RM16 during day time and RM20 during night safari. Happy to see how well maintained the zoo was and how adequate space and enclosures were designed for the animals.
It was a wonderful experience simply because the tram driver/guide we had that night gave information in an interesting way. He was amusing and accommodating allowing us to have a closer look at the animals, spotting the animals with his spotlight. Without it we wouldn't be able to see the animals because it was very dark at night. You can walk but you wouldn't be able to see the wildlife with your normal torchlight. The guide knew where to look and point his spotlight. Besides, he really knew the inhabitants, calling them by name. The only sad point was seeing the elephants didn't seem happy in their confine. It made me wish they could be free in their natural habitat. Otherwise we had an exciting night. Parking was easy. The night safari cost more than the day time tickets, but we didn't have to pay extra for the tram. We only found out from the ticket counter we could get discount if we have a voucher available online. Anyway go to the zoo. The ticket sales would help the animals in some way.
When we arrived and I saw a small and not so grand entrance and low entrance charges, I wasn't expecting much. Boy, I was so amazed at how big it was inside and so many animals. The animals were all free to roam within a huge perimeter enclosure set up like their natural habitat. It was so big that we took the free tram to tour the entire zoo and only visited a few animals near the entrance /Exit. The favourites will be the lion, elephant, one particular safari enclosure that had the giraffes, zebras and birds altogether. There were birds walking serenely down the driveway alongside us, that was so out of rhe world experience. Minus one star for no English narration during tram tour.
