Harada Sake Brewery, Takayama Reviews
Fun and social location. The sake was not amazing, but let's you try everything for 300 yen so the price is right. But there is better sake out there
Great place for sake tasting. There are people there that can help you taste the sake that interests you, or you can pay 300 yen to taste 10-12 bottles out of their fridge and you get to keep the cup. Note that is not all you can drink, you can only taste each sake once. The sake is great and the staff are super helpful.
Taste 12 different kinds of sake for the price of only ¥300, get the given little traditional sake cup home and walkout on a big smile. The reception lady was very kind and hospitable.
A great, local spot that is perfect for getting your fill of local sake. Spend 300 yen, try all twelve sakes (or just a few if you have a lot of time left in your day), and you even get to keep the cup as a souvenir/reward. Super simple, cost effective, and a great way to get a real taste for the Hida region‘s sake-making prowess.
This place looks like just another tourist store, but it's in fact a sake brewery. Actually, you can taste some of their sakes (12 when I visited) for just 300¥...and that's including the cup, because you can take it home with you as a souvenir. Totally worth it, especially if you are with friends and can spend some time there!
