  • way better than the cat island. rabbits are more friendly and cleaner. also had some ww2 history on the island which was a bonus.

  • Nice place but keep in mind that everything closes early here. And the that the Kure line that takes you to this island only comes twice an hour so plan extra travel time to get here. Our train ride back also got delayed by 2 hours so... Also, they don't really tell you the ferry times properly after around 5pm, so make sure you know how you are getting back when you get there. There won't be any staff to help you on the other side after around 4pm. Bunnies are cute though!

  • I went during golden week and the rabbits were completely over fed, also might have to que for quite a while if you want to get on the ferry back 1h+. My recommendation is to not go during weekends or golden week, but try and go during weekdays. Very nice small island with good views, history and cute rabbits.

  • Very interesting place. Definitely worth visiting especially if you are an animal lover. Bring plenty of rabbit food. Not sold on island. The hotel had an onsen. A restaurant and a cafe. There is tempura and ice cream and seafood and Curry and beer pretty much everything needed

  • One of the most stunningly beautiful places I've ever been. The ferry ride over can be a little crowded but please don't let that turn you off coming to this amazing place. The cute as heck bunnies are just scratching the surface of an interesting place.
