Balti Jaama Turg, Tallinn Reviews
Whilst picture-postcard 'tourist Tallinn' was amazing, I enjoyed exploring this market with a completely different feel to it. A place where people do their weekly shopping, and the produce from all over the country is on display. When you visit on a city break it's easy to fail to appreciate the diverse forest crops and the fact that much of this amazingly modern country is very agricultural, and the dozens of different kinds of berries and mushrooms was a total contrast to my home Mediterranean yield, This is what I love about visiting different places! And if you are in Tallinn I recommend a mooch around this lovely market (also a great place to pick up competitively priced chocolates to take home, direct from local artisanal manufacturers)
Great market place for anything you want to buy from food clothing and so much more. Reasonably priced and accessible from your hotel. Situated near bus train and tunnel to the old town. They also have a gym.
A real reason to adore the neighborhood. Fresh farmers market full of local and seasonal stuff, bio shop, Italian corner with all the yum, different diners- also for kids, many vegan/vegetarian food stands. One would easily want to move in there.
Clean and pleasant to walk around to sample food and drinks. You can also do some shopping. Easy to reach beside the Central Train Station, buses and trams.
A very nice and homely bazaar which is built of Estonia's signature limestone. You will see local sellers with very good seasonal fruits and vegetables, a well stocked meat and fish market with delish smoked fish and a lot of street food vendors. A definite must to visit.
