The Toompea Hill located in the middle of the Estonian government and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, offers a fabulous view of the city. Legends say that the hill was formed where Linda mourned for Karev and placed a mound of stones over his tomb.
Dating back to the 13th century, the Toompea Castle was built as part of the fortress of the city. The Baroque facades were added in the 18th century and even today the castle is home to Riigikogu- the Estonian parliament. Take a walk here to see the majestic castle, to breathe the history of the place and to take photos of the city’s skyline.
