Stunning and one of the most beautiful places we have visited. HOWEVER! foreign tourists beware as the local authority will prey on you and part you from your hard earned cash! I parked my rental car in a space at the side of the road facing the wrong way and got a $35 ticket for that simple mistake. OK rules are rules but when the ticket was issued literally 1 minute after I parked the traffic warden could have just politely had a quick word and I would have moved it. Obviously out to make money from unsuspecting tourists. This put such a downer on our day we left early instead of spending money on a meal in the gorgeous restaurant on the beach. What a shame. Definitely worth a visit for the beach tho..........
Great beach that has water that reminds me of the Bahamas. The sand is soft and white with many places to stop and eat. Small island buy a great place to vacation at.
Wonderful vacation place. Very quiet and not crowded. Very few hotels on the island. Rent a house and have a relaxing weekend.
AMI has some of the best sunsets, and almost every restaurant has quality above quality of food.
AMI is the best place on the Gulf. Family friendly, Duffy's Tavern has the coldest beer in town, a golf cart rental is the way to go.
