Great set of museums, especially the nature and stone ones. It will be even better for tourists if all information will be available in English. May be through the application?
A wonderful place inside the old Finlayson factory. Several interesting, variously themed displays are available. Marilyn Monroe rooms were of particular splendor.
There are so many museums inside this museum complex that you'll easily spend many hours there.
A huge museum with so many different areas to explore! From Viking villages, through fashion and furniture, over minerals exhibitions, to gaming history (with lots of playable games), there's so much to explore! The different sections are clearly marked and easy to find. All the different sections are distinctly decorated and laid out, including a whole village in the history section and an 80s bedroom in the gaming section. So much love and care has been put into this place. There's also a big cafeteria that offers lunch buffets, as well as a café with a selection of breakfast and lunch offers. You can definitely spend at least one entire day here, don't miss this gem of a museum!
It's an all at one place museum. Gives us a closer look on city of Tampere.. from the beginning to now. The mineral museum exhibits a splendid collection of rocks and have some breath-taking displays. However, the exhibit information in english is available only at the entrance which made us to get help online (google translate) Also watch out for entry, free of charge on Fridays, post 3pm.
