The magnanimous 12 meters high Golden Guitar located in front of the Longyard Hotel is a symbol of the celebration of Australian Country Music and was unveiled by the famous artist Slim Dusty. Being one of the most significant structures, the Golden Guitar is the venue for the annual Country Music Awards of Tamworth. The structure is made of Wood and Fibreglass and is reinforced with steel. The Collectors Museum at the tourist centre features the private memorabilia of Sir Donald Bradman with his bats, trophies and photographs. The Wax Museum with the wax statues of famous public figures is also noteworthy.
