Literally translates to “The Beautiful Island” but is in fact not an island! Isola Bella is a rock situated near Lido Mazzaro and is connected to the beach via a thin strip of land, accessible only when it is not covered in water. At those times, hire a boat to get to the Island/ rock and enjoy a few hours of hiking and exploring the rock. It is also home to an old house that was built in 1800s by a Scottish woman. Hiring a boat is a great idea in more ways than one – first things first, a boat tour around the rock will give some of the best views of endless sea and rock as well a chance to explore the hidden caves!
Isola Bella is also called as “Pearl of the Ionian”. Home to various sea birds and exotic plants, it is declared a natural reserve and is under maintenance of WWF – World Wide Fund for Nature.

Rooms clean and staff at reception lovely and very helpful but breakfast !!!! It says it's served from. 7.30 till 10.30. We came down at 8.45 and there was no fruit or bacon and very little eggs. When we asked we got a shrug and a sorry when it's gone it's gone look.
Nice sea view the room. Excellent service and very friendly staff.
Its a nice cleanly run hotel with no frills, breakfast choice was good , better if I had gotten up earlier! Its a short walk to some restaurants , snack bar and the cable car, It's a little noisy in the mornings with all the cleaning going on, but the views are amazing, make sure you ask for a Seaview balcony the view will take your breath away every morning!
Its preaty good the pool was my favourite thing to do
The scenery was stunning but the hotel and prices in the area was well over the value of service and satisfaction .
