The 33-mile walk through the boulders along the woods will bring you to the 70 feet high Yellow Creek waterfall in the Nantahala National Forest. Although the trail is an easy one, you need to be careful with the uphill sections, obscuring roots of the trees and the rocks along the path. The first part of the hike will let you take a closer look at some of the streams. You can sit back to have a picnic or soak in the silence of nature where only the murmuring sound of the stream persists. On the way, you will find a couple of bridges; covering them you will have to cross a ridge and finally, Yellow Creek falls is in front of your eyes. You can either sit on any boulder for some awesome photographs or trek further to reach the pool where the water is limpid and cool enough to take a plunge.
