The Quinta de Sant Rafael has a park and a house that was built by Marià Puig i Valls in 1912 with a wish that his brother Rafael be cured. The building was designed by architect Juli Maria Fossas i Martínez with modernist style and architecture (notice the use of wrought iron and ceramics). The most striking thing about the buildings is its blue and white ceramic ornamentation that adorn its exteriors. The place has 2 floors and a tower that offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area and the park. Originally, the Parc de la Ciutat garden that surrounds the building was built in an English style. However today, the garden is rather minimal with a grass area, tall trees that fence the property and a few flower beds and shrubs that line the walkway. Come here for an evening stroll to relax after a long day or simply walk in to see the rather unique home.
