One of the most popular squares in the city, Amir Temur offers a peek into the public life of Tashkent. You get a glimpse of culture and lifestyle as you walk through it, admiring the statue of Tamerlane and passing by the people- who are busy with shopping, eating and hustling. The crowd, alongside the numerous landmarks like the Soviet-style hotel, the congressional hall and state history museum, makes it worthy enough to spend few hours amidst its vibe. It is a great chance to meet new people and befriend them. Originally called Konstantinovsky square, the place is located in the heart of the city and is easily accessible. Great for leisurely walks and socializing!

Amir Temur Square Reviews & Ratings
A very clean and silent place with beautiful views all around. And a bunch of activities available there; cycling, eating, taking photos and so on. I didn't take a lot of pictures. But I hope you do. In fact I suggest you visit and feel the senses I felt that cannot be expressed by words 🙂🙂😉 enjoy the trip.
What I love about this Amir Temur sculpture is the sheer show of strength. From the portraits of Uzbekistan’s national hero, like the Boxer Mike Tyson, he appears to be a person not to be reckoned with. By pairing Amir with a galant horse, the monument amplifies this respect and takes it to level 11.
Leafy greens park with a main statute of Amir Temur (Tamerlane). Very clean with good benches interspersed with 2 fountains. Opposite Hotel Uzbekistan and near metro Yunus Rajaby/Amir Temur
Statue is beautiful but the square itself is nothing special
Sunday view - elderly playing board games, famolies taking a walk, the young on dates or hanging out. The greenerybis very pleasing to the eyes too!
