Amir Timur Museum is also called as the Museum of the History of Timurids. It was established in the year 2006 and since been a constant attraction for tourists in Tashkent. The place is magnificent in all its aspects, from architecture, interiors to the collection that resides in the place. It is easy to bespectacled by its refined architectural designs or the oriental look it gives off through its huge blue dome. There are graceful columns tucked throughout the premise making it appear like it is supporting the building. Apart from this, the building is also home to a very elaborate collection of artifact bespeaking the age-old history of the country. With over three thousand exhibits displaying inside its wall, Amir Timur makes it easy to understand the various aspects of Greece- manuscripts, weapons, utensils, clothes, coins and what not. A must visit for anyone to understand the culture a little better.
