It is a beautiful memorial located near the famous Independence Square. The place is fronted by an eternal flame that burns in the memory of the 400,000 Uzbek soldiers who were martyred during World War II. It has two small corners accompanied by two corridors, all have names of these brave souls carved on it. The memorial was established in 1999 and has been a famous tourist attraction since then.
