The Peckover House & Garden is an 18th-century mansion which is an important National Trust property and a prominent tourist destination as well. Built in the year 1722, Jonathan Peckover owned the mansion. Later it became the property of Alexander Peckover whose family donated the building to the National Trust. This famous house is known for its superb interiors where you can see Georgian fireplaces with carved over-mantels, ornate plaster decorations, and panelled rooms.
