  • Guides we're very friendly and informative. Gardens we're outstanding. We had coffees and the tea room was lovely inside, plenty of seating although we sat outside in the courtyard as it was a very hot day. Lots of sunshades. We even went into the second hand book shop. Staff throughout we're helpful.

  • Interesting house and book collection. We particularly enjoyed looking at the old maps. 1 world map was @ 100AD. Also quite a few John Cotman paintings. The gardens are beautiful and the cream teas delicious. Well worth a visit.

  • A beautiful little hidden gem of a National Trust property & garden in Wisbech. Such a lovely period Georgian house & stunning, English walled garden with surprises around every corner. Colourful flower borders, fruit trees, glasshouses, orangery & deckchairs on the lawn to sit, reflect & simply drink in the peace & quiet. Look out for "Penrose" the cat who has made the house & garden his own, he's adorable!!!

  • Beautiful house in the middle of town, with free parking a short distance away, inside is fairly bare compared to some venues we have been to. It is however a beautiful place with a lovely garden. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

  • Excellent 'Behind the Scenes' tour. David our guide was full of very interesting knowledge and kept us enthralled. We got to see things not usually shown to visitors. Well worth the visit. Not so good was that the cafe had no scones available at midday. So much for their 'famous cream teas' Coffee was very good though. Great afternoon's visit.
