Terrigal has a humid subtropical climate with warm summers and cool, comfortable winters. The average temperature around the year is 18 degree Celsius.
Winter: Winter is mild and cool with an average temperature of 11 – 12 degree Celsius.
Spring: The spring months of September to November are crisp and slightly warm with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius.
Summer: Lasting from December till February, summer is usually mildly hot but temperatures can reach extreme levels in between.
Autumn: March and May usually bring down the temperature by a few degrees and indicate the incoming winters. Rainfall increases during this period.
The best time to visit Terrigal is considered to be the Summers. Though the temperatures are hot, the beach is fabulous during this time and thus is considered to be peak season. Spring and Autumn are a little colder but a great time to go if you want to beat large crowds.
