  • My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit tonight. The host shared some really cool history with us and made the experience exceptional. It was challenging enough to really dig in and think, but not impossible to figure out. This place is the very definition of adventure and the memories you will come away with are priceless.

  • I don't know of any other lock museums but this is definitely a great one. Mostly it exists because of the history of lock manufacturers in the area. It must be a labor of love to keep this place open and running. I have been three times. The docents showing you around are very knowledgable and passionate about the topic. There are a wide variety of items on display; door locks, padlocks, safes, handcuffs, keys, etc. If you have zero interest in locks, you might only want to look around for 15 minutes or so before you get bored. Lock nerds will want to spend a couple of hours here.

  • On your way to scenic route 8, a great place to visit and see a little history!

  • The Museam is packed with items from all time periods and places, with one space dedicated to the lock factory that used to stand across the street. There is an escape room that can be booked and it is of moderate to hard difficulty. It also takes place in the exhibits and gives you a fun reward at the end. The Museam is staffed by volunteers, but they were very professional during our visit.

  • Just played their escape room...AmaZing! So much fun, I played as a date night with my boyfriend and will definitely be recommending to other people.
