Upvan Lake is a lake located in Thane near Mumbai. This lake was re-constructed by J.K. Singhania as a part of providing water supply to his factory. This lake is well known for hosting the Sanskruti Arts Festival. The lake has a walking track around it and is famous among the locals for an early morning or evening walks. There is also a Lord Ganesh temple located near the lake along with many other recreational activities. The nearby Yeoor hills provide a scenic landscape to the lake.
