Sotirelis Olive Oil has been producing the best local olive oil for four generations and still preserves the traditional way of manufacturing products. The production started in 1915 and water was used from a nearby spring that would power the mill. The water mill which was used for this process is still functioning and is part of the museum that showcases other historic equipment’s used during the early 20th century. See the journey of the mill from these simple machines to industrial ones that are a part of the museum too. A video explains the process of oil extractions and refining.
