  • Loved it. As a fan of the Dutch Golden Age but with only an hour to spare, I found this museum very doable and enjoyable. Sprinted up the stairs to see Girl with Pearl Earring then took my time to see the rest. The Young Bull painting has an incredible texture but you'd never know from pictures. Only negative: although it is OK to take pictures, a docent asked me to stop filming when I was actually only taking a panorama. I guess policies take time to catch up to technology!

  • Great museum. Absolutely worth a visit. Make sure to download and use the app. It didn't work with the newest OS on my phone though yet, shame.

  • Museum was fantastic, beautiful and rich design and free entry for under 18s as usual. The whole place was kinda small and less tourists in comparison to the museums in Amsterdam. The Lady with the Pearl Earring was great :D

  • A visit to The Mauritshuis Museum was on my bucket list and it did not disappoint. In a beautiful location next to the Government buildings, in the heart of the Hague, I was able to spend as many hours as required to take in the wonders of the Vermeer, Rembrandt, and many other Dutch and Flemish works of art. This museum houses the famous 'Girl with the pearl earring' which is a sight to behold. There is an excellent Cafe and Gift Shop. The staff are extremely helpful. Would highly recommend.

  • Beautiful place in a wonderful neighbourhood. The artworks are exquisite. I came especially for The Girl with a Pearl Earring and although being relatively small, it did not disappoint! Absolutely stunning!
