Panorama Mesdag - Review
Owned by the family of the painter, till date, it is a 14 feet tall and 120 feet panoramic painting by the painter Mesdag. The painting is a stunning masterpiece with fisherman, the water body and deep and wide horizon, all painted out on a single piece to showcase the stunning imagery of the countryside. The painting was created in such a way that one could not see the top and bottom of it at once. Hence, the panoramic painting became hard to fathom and the onlookers are tricked into looking at it, far and wide.

Panorama Mesdag, The Hague Reviews
I went here not really knowing what to expect and was absolutely blown away by the panorama! I've never seen anything like it before and I would suggest it to everyone interested in world and art history. If you have the Museumkaart there's really no excuse not to visit! I made the choice to put my phone away in a locker to experience it fully, and to be honest you can't really capture the panorama's greatness with a camera, the sheer size will amaze you.
Panorama Mesdag completely left me austonished by the atmosphere that has been created. What a lovely presentation of the amazingly fantastic art! Attention to details have been given to create this master piece and that is clearly evident to a person like me who is not an art enthsist...
A definite must go! Deserves all of the hype I heard about it. Don't forget to take the audio guide. Then enjoy a stroll anywhere around Den Hagen.
The other works of the gallery felt a bit out to the side, with many which does them a disservice IMO. The magnificent panorama totally made up for it, though!
Museum with nice paintings by Mesdag but fhe big surprise is the magnificent panorama. With a good cafe and a nice shop this is a very nice place to visit.
