The Thunderbird Nest was built by indigenous to attract the thunderbird as a guardian spirit. The site is believed to be western Manitoba’s only thunderbird nest. One of the trails here would lead you to the 5 exceptionally beautiful hand-painted signs that describe the legend along with the nest’s rock formation that has been depressed underneath the ground. By visiting the Thunderbird Nest, you would be able to get an insight into the unique place and enjoy a tour around the beautiful forest.
