Great beer selection with several sizes available that include a one-liter boot. Much of the food is delicious and relatively authentic. Shared platters and combination meals are available that allow diners to taste a variety of foods, such as a selection of several sausage types, which is great for those who can't decide on a specific type. Prices are relatively high as this is a touristy area.
I love this place! Everytime I have family visit I bring them here. Great beer. Huge meat. Awesome band. Always a good time. Service is good too! Can't wait to be back :)
This place is actually pretty smart. An underground cellar bar inside, whereas the outside has a decent seating where you can even get a decent view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge if you get the right seat against the wall. I ordered a 1l stein of Munich Lager, great German style beer.
Had a wonderful experience here with Alex who looked after us positioned under cover outside. He entertained our son and kept him quite the whole time as well as being polite and respectful. He had an accent but was very easy to understand and very helpful which made the experience memorable. Highly recommend this place. Great snitzel and the mash potato is to die for.
So much fun to be had here! Great for groups. The food is good quality but it is a little pricey. I love getting a pretzel and sausages here paired with a delicious German beer. The service is great here. - It can get very very noisy in the large area inside and it's hard to talk. Sometimes it's hard to get a seat but other times I've been let in straight away (Thursday evening), depends on the time and day.
