The Museum of Byzantine Culture is a wonderful tribute to the Byzantine Era in Greece’s history. The ancient Greek and the modern Christian come together in the Byzantine tradition which is absolutely fascinating to see.

The museum showcases the period of history with the aid of over 2000 rare and lovely artefacts. These have been painstakingly collectedand form a part of the giant permanent collection. There are several temporary exhibitions in the place as well. The exhibits are certainly lovely to look at but what makes them amazing are the way they depict the history behind it. If you want to discover Greece’s past, this museum is a must visit.
