The Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center is where you would be able to get an insight into the lives of the Acadians and all the other people who travelled to the bayous of Louisiana. Upon visiting, you would be able to explore and discover clothing, recreation, religion, home furnishings, cuisine, religions while also getting to observe artefacts, exhibits, films and videos. There’s a theatre at the Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center that can seat two-hundred people and is generally used for certain programs. The on-site museum does give an insight of the Acadian history; however, the real attraction is the extensive activities including walking tours, Cajun music nights, boat tours, and more.

Acadian Cultural Center Reviews & Ratings
I went on the free walking tour they offered and had a wonderful guide and learned so much history about Thibodaux and the many styles of architecture in town. What a treasure from the NPS, thank you!
I'm generally not a museum person, but this Center inspires me every time l visit. My family and l have been here 3 times over the past 20 or so years, and each time it's as rich an experience as l remembered. As a Marksville girl living in Dallas, l leave feeling even more pride in my Louisiana heritage.
