  • Siva temple, recently visited 5sep 2018 with my wife,. One gets a great view of the Arabian sea. It is located on a rocky shore and one can listen to the roar of the thrashing waves. A quiet place a little away from the busy kovalam beach . You will enjoy this place if you visit in the evening or early in the morning because temple close 12 to 4 pm.

  • Wanted to go here after seeing photos, but didnt get time. So when we were coming back from Poovar, visited the temple. It was closed at that time, but the watchman allowed us to go and see the ocean. The temple from outside is built with Tamil influence, as it reminds us of temples in Tamil Nadu. There is a huge Shiva statue being constructed facing the setting sun. There is a small parking lot, can park around 7 cars, beware of the coconuts though and then I saw another parking lot below the temple.. You can also park along the road, but its a steep slope. Temple timings are 5 to 9 in the morning and 5 to 9 in the evening I guess.

  • Great ampience. Nice temple nice cliff. Very beautiful scenery. A must visit place in Trivandrum.

  • Aazhimala Siva Temple is a very beautiful and spiritually awakening place. The temple is situated on a rock cliff aside the Aazhimala beach. This temple is devoted for worshipping Lord Siva along with Ganesha, Parvathy, Thamburan and Nagaraja. The seaside creates a very ideal atmosphere. Temple remains opened for devotees until 9:00 in the morning and 5:30 to 8:30 in the evening.

  • Temple of Lord Shiva near the beach of Aazhimala. Very calm and pleasant atmosphere with the refreshing breeze and sound of the sea. Beach of Somatheeram and Adimalathura are nearby. A big sculpture of lord Shiva is under Construction.
