Kottoor Kappukadu Elephant Rehabilitation Centre, Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala is home to elephants which need some love and care and above all a safe place to stay. The Kottur forest area is an ideal site to spot wildlife, especially elephants and Kottoor ecotourism as well.

Observe, interact, and care for the Elephants and their little ones while in the city and maybe you will walk out with a few more friends. The elephants are friendly, pretty cute and will surely find their way in your selfie.
- The best time to visit the kottoor ecotourism center is at 9.30 am when the animals are given a bath.
- Do not carry food for the elephants from outside.
- Don’t try to agitate the Elephants in any way.

A perfect ecosystem for the giants of wildlife. Great place to spend your mornings and evenings with the loving family. Fun spot for kids as they can spend the whole day here. You can also witness elephant baths and their feeding, during mornings and evenings (around 9am and 3pm). There is also facilities for boating and river rafting.

Good place to spend time with your family. Good number of elephants and if you reach before 10am May get a chance to see them bathing as well. Car parking is available and entry ticket is close to 30rs and yes, foreign citizens pay more. There is a elephant parade as well towards the end! Which is really a great experience. They do have small baby elephants as well!
Nice place wonderful experience especially for kids.. around 20 elephants..from 8 months to 71 years.. every day we can see elephant bathing from 9 in morning and 3 in evening...an unique experience....we can also watch elephant feeding.....4 elephants below age of 2 .... their childishness.. wonderful experience for kids....also there is boating in neyyar dam catchment area..in various rafts and boats.... never miss the place...
Nature's greenary and the elephant rehabilitation center - one will be able to enjoy the natures beauty here. You can take a short walk to see the elephants here. The forest guards will ensure your safety while going for boating.
Are there more mosquitoes than the city. Should we take precautions. Some people said they got there at 8am but it says it is open at 9a Would really like my son to ride an elephant. Will that be possible?Answer Report Abuse
