There’s a Bunkhouse here which is basically four stables that has been converted into bedrooms wherein two of the rooms can sleep six people in bunks, one sleeping 4 and one sleeping eight. There’s a basic kitchen with refrigerator, electric hob, microwave, communal dining area and more. The food at the pub at The White Horse Inn is delicious while the portions served are generous. The White Horse Inn Reviews & Ratings
Seating inside or out. Not too crowded. Hot delicious lunch served quickly. Meat cooked perfectly. Dog friendly. After finding other eating places in area unable to provide hot meals for 6 without 40 minute wait, this place turned up trumps. This was at 3.15 pm on a Sunday afternoon.
Although we had to order at the bar, the rest of the evening was perfect! The service was outstanding and even though it was busy, the food was done fairly quickly. And tasty aswell! (After having a pint too much) You can stay overnight in the bunkhouse, which isn't bad for a bunkhouse. We stayed 2 nights and have nothing to complain.
Absolutely loved this place! We stayed just one night in the bunkhouse, it literally is a bunkhouse but its clean and has good facilities. The Bar itself is lovely and cozy, a warm welcome and great food! 4x meals and 4x drinks cost us £66 which was more than reasonable. The staff chatted to the kids, the locals said hi and we felt so welcomed. Already talking about going back for a weekend! You wont regret staying here!
Good solid pub food, nothing fancy but well cooked. Most main courses £12-13 mark. Quick service. Great to sit out front with a cracking pint of ale.
Nice pub..go here often after a hike up saddleback.. beer is good. Well kept.
