A glimpse of the town in a single painting! That is indeed the magic of art. The Thun Panorama is the oldest piece of its type that's still not lost its lustre. Drafted in 1814, artist Marquar Wocher sketched this view of the town while on a roof in the centre of the Old Town. The details of this magnificent art depict the hurried lives of the locals on a fresh morning in the town. You also get an insight into the classrooms, living rooms and street of the town back then. The painting is 38 meters tall and 7.5 meters broad. This panorama is the first of its kind and of course the most beautiful as well.
