Yardenit Reviews & Ratings

  • A very beautiful and lovely place!! I loved getting baptized there and I look forward to going there every time I go to 🇮🇱 Israel. God bless Israel and may His peace reside in Jerusalem!!

  • Nice place to visit if you a Christian guy. Nothing really special about this place only you can be baptized there and feed fishes (don't forget to buy some food for them on the way to this place). And you have to remember that this place isn't the actual place where people believe Christ was baptized.

  • I’ve taken students to both this site and the other baptism site in the West Bank. Both sites are fascinating in their own way, but this one-with its lush garden like setting, huge fish swimming in the river, and groups of pilgrims from all over the world -is the better site for appreciating the spiritual practice of baptism. The gift shop is extensive and a cultural education in itself. Note that you cannot be baptized here without the appropriate garb. Take a moment to speak to the pilgrims here about what this place means to them. It is a powerful experience.

  • Almost without mosquitos. Hot but with low humidity. A lot of people at week ends in the summer. A lot of trees provide good shad.

  • Great place for who want to see and be baptized in the Jordan River. The entrance is free. The restrooms are charged. There is a restaurant, a coffee shop, a big store. You can also ask to record a movie of your group baptism celebration. The best place for groups to baptize. Here the Jordan River is clear and you can see a lot of fishes into it.
