Pacific Restaurant Reviews & Ratings
The first thing I want to say about this place is the customer service is outstanding. My family and I arrived just before 6 on a Tuesday night. We were told that they only had one table available and it wasn't very good for the size of our party. We accepted it anyway. Mere minutes later another table opened up and the hostess asked us if we'd like to switch tables. We said yes and she moved us without complaint. So, 5 stars just for that. The food however makes it a 6, if only I could add another star. The halibut fish and chips, calamari, linguine, and clam chowder are all amazing and the burgers look good too. Needless to say, I was very impressed and I will visit again. Definitely highly recommend.
I would give this place zero stars, as we didn't even get to eat, but I want to leave a review. We were looking forward to some nice seafood, but we're greeted with rudeness at our lack of reservation (on a Monday evening at 5). Whatever, it's a fancy place. They seated us (myself, my husband, our older kid, and our one year old). I was not aware that this was not a kid-friendly place, but it was established within the first few seconds by the eye-rolling reaction I got when I asked for a highchair for the baby. The hostess brought us water and bread, and then every staff member proceeded to almost completely ignore us. I say "almost" because I made eye contact with just about every staff member, and even tried to flag down who I assumed was our waitress (she was working every table surrounding us) three times, and she told me to hold on. We left after being ignored for 25 minutes due to our kids being hungry and disruptive. As we left, the hostess told us to have a good night, so I know she saw us leaving without ordering anything. Worst restaurant experience of my life.
We walked into restaurant 1 hr before it closed closed for lunch and we were immediately told our food will take 20 minutes to come out. The restaurant was not busy at the time. After we were seated the waitresses were discussing what tables they were responsible for. No one came to take our order so we left.
Service was so slow. Table was prepared the moment we were seated, took forever to get our order, no asking if we want drinks, food took forever to arrive. 2 min before the food arrived then the waitress (Hollow) told us there was a big table to serve before us. I complained and she offered to cancel the order past 8pm when others restaurants were closed. Fish and chips was over fried. The Halibut was very good.
Poor, slow service. Messy, disorganized atmosphere. Staff was more committed to socializing with one another than serving customers. Food was okay at best, not what I expected for the price at all and took almost 40 minutes to come out when the dining area was nearly empty. Incredibly disappointed, take your money elsewhere.
