The Pindus National Park also popularly referred to as Valia-Kalda and is located in a remote mountainous area In Pindus mountain’s northeastern part. It’s a national park in Greece and was established in the year 1966 and is spread across an area of 6, 927 hectares. The park is characterized by rocky ridges, dense forests of common beech and European black pine, mountain lakes, streams and a lot of peaks spread over 2, 000 metres.
