Hadrian’s Villa is counted among one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites that was constructed upon the request of Emperor Hadrian. This Greek Theatre is one of the best-preserved areas of the villa and is evidently a small theatre that had an oval plan which is very rare. The theatre could easily accommodate somewhere between 3,000 to 3,600 people. The architecture of the theatre is said to be really fascinating and recent excavations at the site have revealed that the theatre was set right in the middle of the garden along with pavilions, topiary and fountains. A visit to this historical site would give you the chance to admire the stunning architecture of the villa and look at the ruins of the theatre.
