The Bon Accord Lagoon in the Bon Accord District is home to one of the most important fish nurseries on the island. The swamp and reef-sheltered shallow waters at the lagoon are home to many fishes. The sea-grass beds of the sanctuary are an abode to many species like conch, shrimp, oysters, snail, crab, urchins and sponges. The No Man’s Land, a sandy spit located on the north of Bon Accord Lagoon is a nice place to swim.
