  • my husband uses a motorized scooter and or wheelchair - what would you suggest are some things to do in Tobermory?

    • You must start by exploring the town of Tobermory. You can then relax on the beaches. Visiting the national parks such as Bruce Peninsula National Park is also an option. The visitor centers of these national parks might be wheelchair accessible. For other wheelchair-accessible attractions in Tobermory, you will have to ask the locals around or visit a local visitor center and know more.

    • The Singing Sands Beach is wheelchair-friendly. I have heard that some trails or areas at Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Park can be accessed with a wheelchair. But, for the detailed information, I would suggest calling the park's visitor center on (519) 596-2233 ext 236.
