Chiba Castle, Tokyo Reviews

  • The castle is open to public from Tuesday to Sunday. If Monday is a holiday observance in Japan, the castle opens its door for public and be closed on the following day. There are no entrance fee for the place. Absolutely free of charge. Although it is more of a museum type, where the History of Chiba Prefecture is presented, than a castle. My only suggestion is that maybe they will have some translation on some of the captions on their exhibits because non-locals or non-Japanese speakers or readers will find their hardest time in understanding the caption of a certain exhibit. It is very much accessible to the public because there is a train station nearby which is the Hon-Chiba Station.

  • Nice little castle in Chiba. The museum inside is small but there is some nice armor, swords and art. It's free, so why not check it out.

  • My friends ancestors lived in there

  • study of CHIBA,s history

  • Nice little spot
