Ekimise Asakusa, Tokyo Reviews
A good department store. Shops on the upper floors are for clothes and goods while on the basement floors, they are for food to take out. There are restaurants on one of the top floors and also a spot to enjoy a great view of the Skytree.
A fine department store. Inside each floor there are a few individual shops that sell stationary and other stuff. One of them on to her top floor has an equivalent dollar store. The quality of the stuff is better than our dollar stores in US.
It is the entrance to the Asakusa station, but it has a small shopping mall with different stores. You can find departamental stores, Uniqlo, magazines, books, video games, souvenirs, etc. Really close to the Senso-ji temple. Really liked it!
The train station serving Tobu-Nikko (and the Shrines and Temples there), and some other stations, is located on the first floor near the entrance. The information office for this train is excellent! The staff I encountered communicated in English very well. They sold various discounted packages, one that served me very well and I thought was the same price as just the round-trip train ticket for my day trip. Entrance fees to the Shrines were not included (fees for me ranged from 1300 to 200).
A rather mediocre mall. But it got access to Tobu Skytree line, which is something.
