Grand House Chang Tee Hotel, Tokyo Reviews
Rooms were great and a good tatami experience too. Bathroom was a little old but was clean nevertheless. A little further from our train station but has a few great convenient stores around it.
This is a Chinese-run hotel. The staff are friendly, and can speak English, Chinese, and Japanese. One room key is provided. Towels are replaceable any time, upon request. It's pretty good of a 2 star hotel, with free cold/hot water and powder tea/coffee. Their coin laundry and dryer is at a fair price, located in the basement. The free wifi isn't bad, either. The room itself felt a bit dirty, but nothing serious. Staff come in every day to make your futon for you, unless you put the Do Not Disturb sign out. But what's best about this hotel is its location, with 7/11 right around the corner, and a short walk to Ikebukuro station.
Besr Hotel i've ever visited. Nice food, drinks and most of them all the rooms. They are the cleanest i've seen and the good room service adds a cherry on the top of the cake.
Nice place with 5 minutes walk to ikebukuro station
Very basic and old rooms as expected (which is fine if you just want a place to sleep) but the room was a little smelly and the bathroom was dirty - black mold everywhere 🤢
