Super good gyukatsu (rare beef lightly fried with panko breading). Ordered the big portion 260 gr (2100¥), for each of the cut, you can optionally cook it in the hot stone in front of you. I cook each side for an additional 5-10 seconds, dip it into the garlic sauce and eat it with rice. Superb beef quality which melts in your mouth. Tips: definitely go to. This outlet rather than the shibuya one. This one has about 20 seating, while the shibuya only around 12 seats. Which makes the queuing much less here.
i'm going to have to reflect the sentiment many other reviewers seem to have. It will haunt me in my dreams once I'm home. Hands down the favorite thing I've had in Tokyo. The meat has an amazingly rich taste that says a lot about the quality of the beef. I strongly suggest coming for lunch or drop by for an early dinner. I arrived at 7 at the other location and waited 2.5 hours before getting seated. I came at 5:30 for dinner at this location and was seated quickly. The size of this location is bigger than the one in Shibuya. Pay first at this location. Portions are on the small side, especially if you're a bigger person. I'm satisfied with the 260g portion and am an average sized male.
It's not here, maybe it's closed or something, go to the other place in shinjuku near keio and marui dept store
Melt in the mouth AMAZING. You can order the standard 130g portion to start, and add an extra 130g later on if you're up for more (and you will be).
it is a MUST TRY when u go to japan. i was very lucky to get seat at my 1st visit. 2nd try was like hell, the line up was sooo loooonnnnggg.
