  • A bit pricey and far out to reach. Just for the novelty of the market area. You be better off having sushi or sashimi at your regular place than coming all the way here...

  • Iwasa Sushi is one of the best sushi places in Tsukiji for the people who appreciate high quality sushi at reasonable prices (in comparison to those places offer mediocre quality for big tourist groups at seem-to-be cheaper prices). Iwasa Sushi is one of my must-go-to places each time I go back to Tokyo every 3-5 years.

  • Superb fish and an authentic feel. The staff are friendly and there wasn't a big wait. Head there after visiting the fish market to complete your experience.

  • Second time around and it just gets better, the sushi is very good with such a creamy fresh taste, the service is really good and the staff/owners won't to talk which I find really good and just adds to the atmosphere and experience. When we arrived at Tsukiji at 5:30am this morning there were about 30 tourists lining up to go into another restaurant, we didn't have any lining up and when I walked out I was completely satisfied with my breakfast at this restaurant.
