  • Came here for New Years Eve, it was quite an experience. Arrived at 11:30 and thought I'd need to wait for hours, but once the gate opened at midnight it all moved very quickly. Lots of food stands, fortune telling booths, and areas to buy trinkets. I expect Lunar New Year will be very similar.

  • Beautiful shrine unique that it is where love live calls home, thus the goshuincho book, fortune, wood block are all related to it. Toss a coin and praying seems to be the standard. When I went there seemed to be an event with celebrities? handing out bananas and many security with stern faces warning about no photography.

  • Beautiful place for trying out kimonos and taking pretty pictures. The shri e is huge and remarkable statues and a huge bell. Yes you have to come here to to look like a fuedal lord.

  • One of the famous temple near Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan. If you are the fans of Love Live! (Idol Anime), you will know this place by looking at the temple and stair near the temple. You can pray in here by tossing some coins then pray. You also can buy some souvenirs in this temple shop such as lucky charm, fortune paper, etc. And you can hang a lucky charm with your quotes, hope, or signature on it beside the temple or in the front of the shop. Very Recommended!

  • Went there on 4th January this year. It was very crowded and people were standing in queues. That was amazing view. You can find eating stall at the entrance of the Shrine. Inside the shrine we spent hardly 15-20 mins. If you are in this area you must go. It is famous shrine.
