  • Really beautiful shrine in the middle of the stressing city! It really feels peaceful being here. It was also fun, as a Love Live fan, to see all the nice messages for the idol girls hanging there. There were some pretty cool drawings! The souvenirs are a little expensive, thought.

  • You can get limited-edition anime merchandise here. They have Love Live and Gochiusa characters dressed in shrine priestess outfits.

  • Kanda Shrine known as Kanda Myojin which literally means "Bright God" is located within a walking distance from Akihabara. The shrine dates back to 1,270 years and received great support from the Shogun Family during Edo Period. Now because Akihabara is next door, it is getting to be a mecca for the technophiles who frequent Akihabara and new cultural movements can be seen here at this Shrine. I was very excited to be here at the 2018 Bon Odori whose guests were DJ Koo and DJ Motsu, etc. Popularity and tradition were well-mixed in Bon Odori. TRF's legendary songs such as "Boys meets girl" and "Survival dAnce" got new dance-style of Bon Odori by the traditional Japanese Dancer, Ukon Takafuji. Also some animation songs called "Anison" were played for the Dance. I believe these songs can entertain not only people but also deities.

  • A shrine where it is one the main setting of Love Live, a popular anime. Now the shrine promotes itself along with the collaboration. You could find many souvenirs of the anime here, unlike any other shrines. The steps right in the side of it has a magnificent view of Akihabara.

  • Can visit and make wishes up till 19:00. Good luck charms shop opens from 9:00 to 16:30. Not only Ochanomizu but also Akihabara is the station where you can hit the road from.
