One of the most famous streets in Tokyo for kitchenware shopping, Kappabashi Dogu-gai is also known as Kitchen Town. There are a large number of shops along the street that sell almost everything, from kitchen knives to other utensils, furniture, crockery, oven, and plastic display of food. You can also taste delicious Japanese food at one of the many restaurants at the Kappabashi Street. One of the statues that you will find everywhere on the street is of the mythical creature “Kappa” after which the street is said to have got its name.
