  • very polite staff, spoke English well, helped a lot and prices were lower/competitive with other akihabara stores

  • Incredibly rude staff. Politely asked for help in Japanese and was very rudely responded to in English. Said, “yah, not right now. I don’t have time for that now.” In my 19 years in Japan I have never been treated so disrespectfully. I have spent significant money at the various Liberty shops over the years and will never return. Do yourself a favor and shop at other stores that are more welcoming and accepting of “foreigners.”

  • Was cool like all the shops in akiba but you have to remember to compare the prices before buy.

  • Great selection, rare finds, fair market-price, nice discount-bins. Unlike the tourist trap figurine stores around the station, this store is serious about trading popular and/or rare figurines and gatchas. They are sensitive to market pricing; common items are much cheaper than the tourist traps but you won't find "treasures" of rare items at deep discounts like in book-off. However they do have discount bins that could have fun stuff like seat cushions for a few hundred yen.

  • An incredible place to find any figure you're looking for. For big figures, the prices will be higher as they have collected everything into one place. However, if you're not a serious collector and just want some high quality memento figures, check out their small figure set on 5F. A ton of great options for 300 to 800 yen each.
