Narisawa, Tokyo Reviews

  • What an amazing culinary experience! The service and the food are both impeccable. There was so much care going into every dish, and it showed with each presentation. However, being from Texas, I have had beef as good as their theirs. I was expecting better from what I was hearing about Kobe.

  • Incredible experience from start to finish. Meal incredible. Service incredible. I can see why Narisawa is ranked so highly worldwide. We came for a weekday lunch and it was fully reserved. Service is so good, nice touches from start to finish and it really feels like a world class experience. I tried the 9 tea pairing and I felt it really enhanced the flavour of the dishes. They were cold tea pairings fyi. Now on to the food. The plating and artistic creativity is stunning. Not only that, the food is full of flavour and a real treat to experience. My favourite was the persimmon dessert. I was and still am blown away by the experience. Narisawa himself did come out to greet every table and take pictures if asked! He seems like a humble man. Overall highly recommended and would repeat.

  • An absolutely remarkable experience. The atmosphere, service, food were all amazing. The creativity and precision of the food presentation were a huge part of the experience. Not easy to find. It’s tucked away from the street. But that also adds to the intimacy of the dinner.

  • Amazing experience as to be expected in such a world renowned restaurant. The food and paired drinks were all I could have hoped for, and the head chef met with us and showed us around the kitchen. If you can make it, this is a definite place to visit in Tokyo for a world class dinning experience.

  • Perfection from the minute we walked to our departure. The dining area showcases minimalist design that is a perfect canvas for the meal to follow. Quintessential Japanese service. Every member of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about every aspect of the meal, ingredients and Sake pairings. The menu was well described and featured many of the “bucket list” Japanese ingredients you would hope for namely Blowfish and Kobe Beef. What put the experience into the stratosphere was the incorporation of unusual ingredients and engagement of all senses. Each dish was a work of art and most included theatrics like you would see on “Chiefs Table”. The meal concluded with a visit from the man himself: Chef Yoshihiro Narisawa and a personalized desert to commemorate our honeymoon. Our visit to Narisawa is an experience I will treasure for a lifetime. Thank You! Or rather Arigatō (full bow).
