Narisawa, Tokyo Reviews - Write a Review
Incredible experience from start to finish. Meal incredible. Service incredible. I can see why Narisawa is ranked so highly worldwide. We came for a weekday lunch and it was fully reserved. Service is so good, nice touches from start to finish and it really feels like a world class experience. I tried the 9 tea pairing and I felt it really enhanced the flavour of the dishes. They were cold tea pairings fyi. Now on to the food. The plating and artistic creativity is stunning. Not only that, the food is full of flavour and a real treat to experience. My favourite was the persimmon dessert. I was and still am blown away by the experience. Narisawa himself did come out to greet every table and take pictures if asked! He seems like a humble man. Overall highly recommended and would repeat.
Superb and fantastic! Narisawa San is an artist indeed. If you think it’s too difficult to book a table, trust me it’s worthy. My favorite restaurant in Asia.
Absolute world class meal and experience. Reservation ahead of time is necessary. Staff can speak English and will gladly explain each dish.
It serves the best bread in the world! It's been a while since I visited it but the softness, chewiness and tastiness of the bread is still vivid. Definitely deserves a 5 stars rating just for the bread. I wish I could eat it again ASAP!!
My visit to Narisawa was a complete success. The restaurant has created a unique proposal of a modern take on Japanese cuisine, but that is still deeply rooted in the culinary protocol traditions. I found the idea to cook the bread on the table (with two extremely hot bowls) extremely innovative. Each dish was conceived as an art piece, with decorations I have only seen in a few restaurants across the world. The oyster dish, served in an indescribable fried coating and in its shell was a dish whose flavors are still extremely vivid. Narisawa is a must go in Tokyo and a restaurant worth following in the future.
